We call our event a retreat because we want to invite attendants to retract from their busy lives and to offer a Christian summer event with a less-filled timetable. There are scheduled prayers and Bible studies at the retreat, but also Selah offers free time every day, with the aim to allow for the participants to meditate on God’s word individually, hang out with old and new friends, take a nap, engage in lively conversations and spend time inside or outside. Selah is not a silent retreat although we want to meet the needs of individuals that want to have some more quiet days.

Spend your days exploring like Indiana Jones or relaxing in a cozy café with a good book — or something in between. In the evenings, gather for dinner, prayer, and meaningful conversations and even meet local Lutherans along the way.
