The Selah 2025 retreat:
The God we believe in

Pray together:

The liturgical prayers of the daily office will be offered three times a day; in the morning, mid-day and in the evening. The format of the prayers can be found in the Lutheran Service Book and are held in English. At these prayers, we recite texts from the book of Psalms together and sing hymns as well as listening to sermons.

Study the Bible:

There will be Bible studies led by Rev. Dr. Daniel Johansson every day. The topic for the Bible studies is “The God we believe in” the way it is phrased in the Nicene Creed, as we celebrate the 1700 year anniversary for the Council of Nicea. If needed, we will provide child care/children's program during the Bible studies.

Rest:

There will be free time at the event where you can choose to retract from the group and get the kind of rest you need; whether it is to read, pray, relax or do something else. In addition, we want to facilitate the joy of the fellowship of the believers through semi-organized and unorganized conversations and activities.
